Application submission closed on 15 November 2013 for the Screening for Psychosocial Distress Program.
This two-year educational program will prepare cancer care clinicians to develop and implement a comprehensive distress screening in their practice environments.
The first year of the program begins with a one-day workshop held Thursday, 13 February 2014 at the American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) 11th Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida and continues with videoconferences with experts every 3 months.
The second year includes an advanced one-day workshop at the annual APOS conference with 2 videoconferences throughout the second year.
Funded by an NCI grant, this cancer education program is a joint project between the Yale School of Nursing and APOS
