Continuing Education Credits

Attendees will be eligible to receive the credit hours as listed below for attending the APOS Pre-Conference Education Day, as well as the full 17th APOS Annual Conference, March 11-13, 2020.  All attendees will receive an email post-conference asking to complete the conference evaluation. There is a $50.00 certificate fee for Continuing Education Credits. If you would like continuing education credits, you can call 615-432-0095.

Physicians and Nurses      

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and the American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS).  Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Credit Designation Statement – Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 31 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians and 31 contact hours for nurses. Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Psychologists

This course is co-sponsored by Amedco and APOS.  Amedco is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  Amedco maintains responsibility for this program and its content.  31 hours.

Social Workers

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 31 clinical continuing education credits.
