APOS Workshop Training and
6th Annual Conference

Thank you for registering for the APOS 6th Annual Conference, 5 - 8 February 2009 in Charlotte, NC. APOS continues to build on its success as the only multidisciplinary society in the United States dedicated to advancing psychosocial oncology. APOS is proud to offer one full day of preconference training sessions on Thursday, 5 February 2009 and one-half day of postconference training sessions on Sunday, 8 February 2009. The Annual Conference takes place on Friday, 6 February 2009 and Saturday, 7 February 2009 with two full days of symposia and concurrent sessions exploring the latest research and topics in the field, including advocacy.

Registration Rates are available for members, non-members and students.
* To qualify for the member rates, you must either renew your membership for 2009 (having been a member in 2008) or apply for membership in 2009. Applications/renewals for 2009 will be available soon.
** To qualify for student rates, APOS must receive an e-mail directly from your advisor or department chair confirming that you will be a student at the time of the conference, 5 - 8 February 2009. The e-mail should be sent to info@apos-society.org.

Celebrating her 80th Year

Join us in honoring APOS Founding President Jimmie C. Holland MD in her 80th year. The Gala Reception will be held Friday, 6 February 2009, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Buddy Kemp Caring House in Charlotte, NC.

The Individual Ticket ($50) provides entrance to Gala.

The Individual Sponsor Ticket ($80) provides you with a ticket to the Gala and a commemorative DVD of an interview between Matthew Loscalzo MSW (2006 APOS President) and Dr. Holland discussing the history of psychosocial oncology.

A Founding VIP Sponsor Ticket ($180) provides you with the commemorative DVD and a signed copy of Dr. Holland's groundbreaking book, "The Human Side of Cancer."
