Preconference workshops will be held on Thursday, 13 February 2014, that are two or four hours in length. The American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) Scientific Program Committee requested proposals for preconference workshops that impart clinically relevant skills or specific methods in qualitative and quantitative psychosocial oncology research, and that relate to the conference theme of Implementing Quality Care Standards for Psychosocial Oncology and Supportive Care.
Concurrently with the preconference workshops, is the Screening for Psychosocial Distress Program. The application deadline was Friday, November 15, 2013. For more information, visit apos-society.org/screening/

Speakers, please note:
Although APOS does not cover travel expenses and conference registration
for workshop speakers, a certificate of participation will be provided. Speakers
are not required to register for their own workshop, but are encouraged to
register for other events, including the conference. All communications
go through the workshop chair. It is the chair’s responsibility
to relay pertinent information to workshop speakers.
